Located at the heart of a well-established, friendly community.

A short distance from parks, shopping centres, cafes, restaurants, public transport, local club and more. AnglicareSA Elizabeth East is a newly-renovated residential care home, where you can live your life how you choose.

As a resident, you have the opportunity to get involved in different lifestyle activities which are on offer each day. You can enjoy a classic movie in our home theatre room (complete with a popcorn machine!), or spend some ‘me time’ in our library reading your favourite book. The home is bright with many windows that look out to landscaped gardens and courtyards.

Each day, we do all we can to ensure our older loved ones are eating wholesome and tasty food. Our team of professional cooks freshly prepare and cook all meals on-site. We’re always finding ways to involve residents in their food options. This starts from the moment we meet you and learn about your dietary requirements, allergies and the foods you love.

But it’s our caring team of trained professionals who will make you feel at home. We genuinely care about our residents – their mental, physical and spiritual wellbeing – and making a positive difference in their lives.

Types of care

We understand that your needs may change from day to day and that flexible care options that meet your health and lifestyle choices are important to you. Our range of care options will help give you the peace of mind you deserve and make some of the challenging decisions easier.

Residential Care

As you get older, naturally, you may require more support and extra care due to illness, disability or because of family circumstances. With 24-hour nursing care and a variety of daily services like cleaning, cooking and laundry, our residential care homes will help you relax and put your mind at ease. We offer a full range of tailored care to suit your individual needs.

Respite Care

If you need a short period of care in a residential care home – two weeks or longer – we’re here for you. You may need time to recover from a hospital admission, or as a carer, you may need a short break from your carer commitment for various reasons. Whatever the reason, we have a range of options to suit your needs and length of stay.

Specialised Dementia Care

Dementia is a term used to describe symptoms that can result in memory loss and reduced language skills which may reduce a person’s ability to perform everyday activities. We understand that transitioning a person living with dementia into care is one of the toughest decisions to make.

We’re here to reduce the stress and make the transition easier for you. Our Elizabeth East home has a dedicated memory support unit, we call it the safe neighbourhood, that features an award-winning program to support residents with dementia. All of our teams complete specialist dementia training, equipping them with strategies to enhance our residents’ quality of life as they age.

Palliative Care

End-of-life and palliative care are types of care that aim to enhance the quality of life for a person with a life-limiting illness or of old age. At AnglicareSA, we’re compassionate and understanding of the emotional challenges and grief that families and friends face during such a time. Our professional team provide respectful and proactive care for older loved ones nearing their final days and their relatives, making sure physical, psychological, social and spiritual needs are considered and met.
